Legal Description:  624 acres of land, more or less, situated in the J. Covey Survey, Harrison and Panola Counties, and the J.K. Williams Survey, the John B. McGrue Survey and the T.M. Alston Survey in Panola County, Texas, being more described as all that certain tract or parcel of land comprising of 704 acres, more or less, being described by metes and bounds in that certain Oil, Gas and Mineral Lease dated March 19, 1979 between Janie Furrh Pitts, et al, Lessors, and Leon C. Lewis, Lessee, recorded at Volume 654, Page 642, Deed Records of Panola County, Texas, save and except that portion of 704 acres included within two oil producing units comprising 40 acres each, being identified in that Release of Oil and Gas Leases executed by Arkansas Louisiana Gas Company and Robert Cargill dated December 8, 1978, recorded at Volume 650, Page 189, under File No. 31207, Deed Records of Panola County, Texas. Insofar and only insofar as such Lands are included within the Judge Gas Unit No. 1, Panola County, Texas

Please Note: The MCEE Land department will record the conveyance for the winning bidder.  Please note the conveyance will be recorded in two counties and will therefore take additional time.  Once received the operator will be notified of the new ownership by sending a copy of the recorded assignment requesting the interest be put into suspense and division orders sent out.  The recorded instrument will be mailed to the buyer with operator contact info included.  The recording, notifying and document fees are $229.00 and will be added to the invoice.
